Memory Lane : Tweed Cap + Sweater Tee

My Labour Day long weekend was particularly eventful because my high school friend Dan from Calgary came to town! He’s a big foodie, so we had a good time eating around all sorts of places in Vancouver and Seattle. Although times have changed and neither of us are students anymore, it was nice to see how we still interact with each other like back in the day. Spending time with an old friend is always a nice walk down the memory lane.

Another memory lane that I walked down this weekend was at UBC where I gave Dan a tour of my Alma Mater. Though it hasn’t even been a year since I graduated, the campus has changed much already with new developments. These photos were actually shot in front of the Computer Science buildings where I used to have lectures! Being a student was definitely tough and I certainly don’t miss the all-nighters and cramming, but in the end it was all an experience that helped me grow.

With 90’s trends making a comeback this season, I’m happy to see the return of the Baseball Cap. I haven’t really worn one out since grade school, so wearing one now makes me feel nostalgic. To change things up, I like the idea of wearing baseball caps in different textures such as tweed and flannel.
