Rushed Mornings : Cobalt Blazer + Mustard Corduroys

Following my last post, this post features another mustard and cobalt look – but this time in reverse: cobalt on top, mustard on the bottom. I just pulled out these mustard corduroys for the first time this year and I’m liking how they match with the fading leaves on Autumn trees.

I’m wearing:

Zara Pique Blazer (another blazer I like here) | Target Sweatshirt | Uniqlo Corduroy Pants | Kohl’s Horsebit Loafers

This morning I was running late and only had minutes to get dressed. Fortunately I didn’t have any meetings, so a shirt and tie were not necessary. The groggy side of me threw on my favourite sweatshirt for comfort’s sake, but I quickly realized that I was too dressed down for work. To fix this, I instinctively grabbed my versatile cobalt blazer before darting out of the house. By wearing a blazer over top of my sweatshirt, the sweatshirt looks more like a crew neck sweater rather than an athletic piece.
