As you’ve probably noticed by now, I’ve changed my blog name: it is now Walking, Talking Style. I’ve entertained the idea of changing my blog name for a while and just finally decided to pull the plug. All my e-mail subscriptions and social media platforms should link to this new site now, but it may take a week or two for any minor issues to be resolved. Thanks for bearing with me, and I hope you all like my new blog name!
Zara Quilted Jacket | Topman Henley Tee | Zara Jeans | Adidas Sneakers | Adidas Cap | Target x 3.1 Phillip Lim Bag | Samsonite Carry-on Suitcase
These shots were taken as I was heading out to the airport last night. I’m actually in Calgary now to spend Canadian Thanksgiving with family and friends. Since it’s a short trip, a carry-on and weekender were all that I needed for luggage.
When I first received this Target x 3.1 Phillip Lim Valise Bag in the mail, I was shocked by how massive it is. It’s so much larger than how it looks in the campaign photos! I was tempted to return it because it’s not appropriate for work or the gym, but a couple of my friends convinced me to hold on to it and use it as a travel bag. I’m using this bag for my trip now and so far it’s not bad. Its canvas composure actually makes it quite light and easy to carry, and I appreciate how there’s some padding on the bottom to keep its shape. Until I find my perfect leather weekender bag (so hard to find one I like for <$500), this will do.
