For the past few years I didn’t really get to feel the Christmas spirit because my University exams occupied me for most of December. This year is my first December without having to stress over exams, and it feels pretty darn good to be able to truly enjoy the Holidays! Unfortunately I won’t be spending Christmas in Canada again this year as I will be travelling in Malaysia for the first time. It’s currently 45 degrees Celsius over there now, which means that I’ll be hopping from the freezer into the oven.
I wore this outfit when I was running errands and doing X’mas shopping downtown. Instead of wearing a scarf to keep my neck warm, I opted for a turtleneck for a change. Although I have friends who think that turtlenecks are grandpa-looking, I actually quite like their elegant and sophisticated appeal. When buying turtlenecks, I like choosing ones that aren’t composed of heavy fabric because I don’t want to feel stuffy in heated indoors. This one I’m wearing here is made of a stretch cotton material and I find it to be a great piece to wear from the Fall into Spring.
