Hong Kong was full of good surprises, one of the most notable ones being that I got to watch a fashion show from local designer Erbert Chong! Nick from Cut & Copy kindly invited me to this event and I was thrilled because this would be my first fashion event in Hong Kong. Nick told me that Erbert Chong has a “Givenchy meets Balenciaga” sort of style, so I decided to sport a minimalistic grunge look to the show with my new top from 5cm and my faux leather pants.

Erbert Chong’s designs were unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Using black as his main colour theme, he created dazzling and edgy designs that were beyond my imagination. Of the 8 looks that were presented, my favourite would have to be the one with his one-sleeved leather jacket (pictured below). I had such a good time at this show and even got to meet a more Hong Kong fashion bloggers! The fashion community in Hong Kong is wonderful and I had such a great time learning about it.
