Around Hong Kong with the Seiko® Astron GPS Solar Watch

The acquisition of a new watch is always very exciting to me because I am really particular about what I add to my collection. I find watches to be the most important accessories because they speak to the user’s personality and lifestyle. Recently, Seiko® gifted me with their new revolutionary Astron GPS Solar watch to try out. This watch is the first in the world to be able to automatically adjust to the user’s time zone using GPS signals. This spares users from having to look up their time zones and lose precision through each adjustment. Another cool feature is that the Astron watch is fully solar powered, so there’s no battery that ever needs to be replaced. I am attracted to this watch because I feel that it reflects upon my adaptable personality and my on-the-go lifestyle.

While the Astron watch has impressive technical capabilities, it’s equally impressive from a style perspective. Most of the other timepieces I own are limited in versatility – they’re either strictly formal or strictly athletic. The Seiko® Astron watch is very versatile as it adds a sporty and sophisticated touch to both my business and my casual ensembles. As seen in these photos, I can wear this watch to work at an office in IFC or to hang out in Soho on the weekend. It’s one watch that fits all.
