Daniel Wellington Moment in Sheung Wan

Simplicity is beauty, and I find this to be especially true in a timepiece. Recently I got in touch with Daniel Wellington as they kindly gifted me with one of their watches. Daniel Wellington watches have always appealed to me because they are the epitome of minimalistic elegance. My favourite thing about these watches is that all of their straps are interchangeable, so you can change the look of the watch over time. Daniel Wellington’s leather straps offer a classic feel whereas their NATO straps are a fun retro throwback. For starters, I got the DW watch in silver hardware with the ‘Canterbury’ strap. I appreciate this watch strap’s youthful and preppy appeal. If you are interested in purchasing a Daniel Wellington watch, you can use my discount code ‘jstn_sfl‘ to save 15% off your entire purchase!

For those of you who might be wondering, these photos were taking at the Sheung Wan Harbour in Hong Kong. The waterfront views in this city are simply breathtaking. It’s been almost three weeks since I’ve landed in Hong Kong but part of me still feels like I’m dreaming. Part of me still believes that this is a vacation and not home. In my brief time here I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the people I’ve met, the sights I’ve seen, and the food I’ve eaten. My friends back in Canada have asked me if I’ve missed my old home yet, and the truth is…not at all. Life in Hong Kong is everything that I imagined it to be and I’m sure that the best has yet to come. Living in such an amazing city had always been a dream of mine and it will take some time for my mind to register that my dream is now a reality :) I hope to have more happy stories to share with you all soon!

I like your whole outfit ^^ And I’m glad that your dream is reality now. I’d be so happy if I lived in Hong Kong. Great people, culture, clothes and of course food there! But my cantonese is very weak and I can’t even read/write chinese characters. I’m looking forward to seeing your next post!

Oh wow, your pictures of this area are stunning Justin! I’m so happy that you’re finding life in HK to be everything you hoped for– you’re living the dream! I unfortunately visited this area on a day when it was so hot and haze-y that I couldn’t truly enjoy myself (it was August after all), but I nevertheless had an amazing time. I can’t wait to come back to sight see more: I want to go hiking on one of the other islands, shop more (of course), and eat more (SOGO for mochi and other amazing treats… drool)!

As usual, you look amazing and your outfit is en pointe– those watches just add the perfect touch of masculine style. Great job on this amazing collab, watches are such an understated yet lovely way of accessorizing (I’ve been meaning toget a nice one for myself for years now…)!
