After many months of travelling and moving to Hong Kong this year, my blogging schedule has become a mess. I have so many photos and stories from my travels that I would like to share, but I haven’t been able to publish them in a chronological sequence due to events and projects that have popped up. Lately I’ve received some new items that I’m very excited to share without any further delay. Unfortunately this means that the timeline of my blog is going to fall out of sequence more. I’m thinking of designing a new layout for my blog that will display all these posts in a more understandable manner – I hope you all bear with me in the mean time!
What to do on a gloomy day? Well, I like to take photos for the blog. Sunlight can be used to create dramatic photos, but the absence of harsh sunlight makes photo shooting so much faster and easier.
Before last week I’ve never actually owned a versatile black bag that I liked. For some reason I just never came across a black bag within my budget that fully met my expectations. I received this Jerome Dreyfuss Thomas Tote Bag last week and I had never been so happy from unboxing an item before. The online photos of this bag just don’t do it enough justice. Things that I love about this bag: its soft pebbled leather, its relaxed-but-not-sloppy shape, and interestingly enough, it has a built-in flashlight and bottle opener! This is the perfect mens’ black bag and I hope it will last me forever. I’m sure the flashlight and bottle opener will come in handy at times
To complement the edginess of my new bag, I paired it with my leather sandals and my (also new) leather cap. Wearing all these strong pieces together made me feel like a modern day rebel.
