I hope everybody had a happy and joyous Christmas! I snapped these photos on Christmas Eve near St. Augustine’s Church in Macau. This small part of Macau is filled with colourful European buildings. Being here reminded me of the time I spent Christmas in Portugal two years ago. Even after travelling so extensively this year, Portugal still remains to be one of my most favourite countries. I’m sure glad that I can find traces of Portugal nearby in Macau.
This fair isle sweater is one of the coziest pieces that I own. Macau was quite chilly during my visit, but on Christmas Eve it got warm enough that I could wear just this sweater in lieu of a coat. Even though I like this sweater very much, I’ve only been wearing it annually during Christmas.
I don’t wear these green chinos very often, but when I do, they make a statement. The pair that I’m wearing is from last year, but I’m also really digging these similar pairs by Marc Jacobs (available via East Dane).
I’ve always known that Macau has good food; I can eat Portuguese tarts and Macanese pork chop sandwiches for days and days straight. During this visit, I also learned that Macau has some impressive coffee shops. Terra Coffee is located across from St. Augustine’s church and they have the most amazing Hazelnut Latte ever – I went three times! I highly recommend checking it out if you visit the area.
