The past week was probably the busiest week I’ve ever experienced in my life – hence the blogging hiatus. I was kept very busy with deadlines at work, two out-of-town wedding banquets, and some visitors from back home. Nevertheless – I survived! I’m already super looking forward to the Easter long weekend next week.
Rattanakosin is Bangkok’s historic center and it is home to the city’s most notable landmarks. Interestingly enough, Bangkok’s historic center is actually quite a distance away from all the hotel chains and shopping malls. In fact, it can’t even be reached by the metro or public transport. I ended up having to hire a tuk-tuk to transport me to this area. Although tuk-tuk rides are a bit dizzying, I really think it’s the fastest and funnest way to get around in Thailand.
I wore this black and white look while I was in Macau for the Chinese New Year holidays. I picked up this biker vest from Zara during the winter sale and I’ve enjoyed wearing it with sweaters in mild temperatures.
Black and blue is one of my favourite colour combinations – it’s simple, sharp, and elegant. I first came across this colour story a lookbook of Paris-based fashion brand A.P.C. Here I’m sporting a street casual black and blue look with my navy varsity jacket, black sweater, and mid-blue denim.
