Over the past week it’s been raining non-stop in Hong Kong. There have been moments of torrential downpour that were even more intense than what I had ever seen before. Although the rain is inconvenient, I appreciate how it’s provides a break from the heat and also a sweet reminder of my life back in Vancouver where it rained more than anything else.

To dress for the wet weather I choose dark-coloured pieces that are resistant against water damage. Here I’m wearing a denim shirt (similar styles here) and my absolute favourite Zanerobe joggers.

I’ve had this Jack Spade bag for over half a year now and it’s still holding up well. Its durable canvas material is very resistant against the rain.

I purchased these Tretorn rainboots years ago in Vancouver. They’re not the most fashionable footwear and they are quite old, but these boots still serve their purpose in keeping my feet dry from the biggest puddles.

Thank you for reading!
