Throughout most my life I’ve only really bought black accessories. This year I’ve leaned towards purchasing grey pieces instead, since I’m finding grey to be more refreshing and sleek. In the past month I’ve purchased two grey accessories: this S’well water bottle and this Mujjo leather iPhone case.
A fitted plain tee is a basic piece that I can’t ever seem to own enough of. However I have struggled with finding ones that are high quality, fit well, and are at a good price point. Lately I’ve discovered the Brunswick tee in Cotton On and I literally bought it in every colour. I love the worn-in fabric of these tees and they fit me like a glove. Best of all, they’re super affordable too. If you run into me in Hong Kong this summer, this is what you’ll likely see me wearing.
For the past few weeks I’ve been going west to Kennedy Town or Sai Ying Pun every weekend. I never ventured much into these districts before, but lately I’ve discovered that they’re home to some very good restaurants and hang out spots. These shots were taken on a rainy day in Kennedy Town. I got sick of wearing my heavy rain boots so I opted for my leather Chelsea boots instead.
The summer heat has hit Hong Kong now and it has made life slightly less comfortable. During times like this I’m thankful that I am not required to suit up for work at my current job. A few weeks ago I bought this short-sleeved button up to wear for the White Party in Hong Kong. The other day I took it into a different direction and wore it to work by pairing it with proper dress pants. I appreciate the versatility of this piece and the cool pilot vibes that it gives off.
