The summer heat has hit Hong Kong now and it has made life slightly less comfortable. During times like this I’m thankful that I am not required to suit up for work at my current job. A few weeks ago I bought this short-sleeved button up to wear for the White Party in Hong Kong. The other day I took it into a different direction and wore it to work by pairing it with proper dress pants. I appreciate the versatility of this piece and the cool pilot vibes that it gives off.

Because closet space is so limited in Hong Kong, I’ve changed my approach towards shopping since I moved here. I’ve focused my spending towards buying a few investment pieces rather than lots of fast fashion. These Dolce & Gabbana shoes are a recent purchase that I got from the Farfetch sale. Every guy needs a perfect pair of black shoes, and surprising aenough, I didn’t have one until now. I’m so impressed by how well-made and easy to wear these shoes are – I’ve been wearing them to work almost everyday.

Alongside my Dolce & Gabbana shoes, this Tumi Irving Briefcase is another piece that I often show up to work with. It’s my most formal work bag and I really feel like a grown-up professional while carrying it in the busy streets of Hong Kong. I do particularly like that it has a detachable shoulder strap, a feature that is missing on many briefcases that I’ve liked.

I’m wearing:

Shirt : Zara | Pants : Zara | Shoes : Dolce & Gabbana | Bag : Tumi (c/o East Dane) | Watch: Tissot
