Happy Belated Canada Day and Independence Day to all my friends up north! It’s a great coincidence that Canada Day (July 1) also happens to be a public holiday in Hong Kong, so I spent it in the outdoors at Repulse Bay beach. This was my first visit to a beach in Hong Kong and I appreciated this break from the city smog. It was rather cloudy for a day at the beach, but I didn’t mind it since I’m no good with super hot weather anyways.
Wore the exact same Canada Day outfit two years in a row – a white shirt with red shorts.
I’ve loved wearing espadrilles since I purchased my first pair in London a few years ago. Soludos are my go-to brand for espadrilles because they’re the most comfortable and durable ones that I’ve come across. I own three pairs at the moment and I still wouldn’t mind getting more.
Hong Kong was originally a fishing town before it became a metropolitan city, so you can find Chinese temples scattered across the city coasts. The one by Repulse Bay is called ‘Tin Hau Temple’.
