It seems that winter is just not going away in Hong Kong. It’s mid-March and I still find myself shivering every morning when I wake up. It’s a bit embarrassing how afraid of the cold I am, considering that I did grow up in Canada. But there’s a little something called ‘indoor heating’ that I really miss from back at home. Let’s hope that Spring is on its way here soon!
I shot these photos at the Sheung Wan waterfront on the record-breaking 3 degree cold day in Hong Kong. The cold air and the seaside wind was just absolutely brutal. I have so much appreciation for my dear friend who still helped me take these shots despite the harsh conditions.
This camel topcoat from COS was probably the best purchase I made last year. I’ve had it for six months now, and even after very many wears, it still looks brand new. The coat is very well structured and hardly needs any special care. I’ve enjoyed wearing this coat on weekdays with my work attire, and on weekends I like to wearing with jeans and a simple sweater. Given the excellent quality, I’ll probably be grabbing another coat from COS when next winter swings by.
