Earlier this month I went on my first tropical vacation – crazy, I know. Because I can’t swim, I’ve always turned away from resort or beach vacations. Life’s too short not to try new things though, so I decided to book a short trip to Sabah in Malaysia. Sabah is the northernmost state of Eastern Malaysia. When i googled this destination I was drawn to so many photos of its clear blue waters and white sandy beaches.

I took these photos when I was doing an island hopping tour in the Tunku Abdul Raman Marine Park. I went to four islands in total, each of which were fairly small but beautiful. It was so nice to be here after enduring through months of cold harsh weather in Hong Kong.
