When it comes to fashion, it’s always nice to get lots of bang for your buck. That’s definitely the case for this varsity jacket that I bought from Forever 21 in Las Vegas a couple years ago. I think it just cost me $70 but I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn it. Despite being a wool blend, it has aged very well and hasn’t pilled at all. Here in these photos I’m wearing the jacket on a gloomy day in Taipei.

Chinese New Year



Kung Hei Fat Choy! Happy Year of the Monkey to you all! This was my second Chinese New Years in Hong Kong and I’m enjoying it more and more this year as I get the hang of all the traditions. I highly appreciate this holidays’ positive atmosphere, festivities, and of course…the red pockets. For those of you who also celebrate the Lunar New Year, I hope you had a fantastic time as well!

Growing up in Central Canada was the most profound experience of my life. These photos were shot in Lake Louise, the most beautiful place in Canada (if not the world). For most of my life I lived within an hour’s drive away from this heavenly scene. It’s a special place to both my family and I.

Currently catching up on some long overdue blog posts. I took these photos in Vancouver’s Gastown back when it was still Fall. Gastown remains to be one of my favourite spots in good ol’ Vancity. In this area I highly recommend Revolver for coffee and Ask For Luigi for Italian food. As for shopping, I love checking out Oak & Fort for high-quality basic clothes and Old Faithful Shop for home decor. Ah, Hong Kong can really use a place like Gastown.
